'Spring has Sprung'

I believe spring has officially sprung. There are fewer rain filled days here in the idyllic scenery of the Pacific Northwest. Days of outdoor sun, walks and bike riding have arrived. Our daughter is forever climbing on tables, playgrounds, desks & anything else I will permit. She is thin, yet sturdy. Her favorite song to sing to herself is "Twinkle, twinkle little star." Her attention span & focus are very strong & I am pleased among peers forever engaged in electronic toys & video games. We will soon be taking her to her first dance performance!!
And to all you mamas, Happy Mother's DAY!!!!!!

A Long Time

So it was brought to my attention that I haven't written here in a while. I guess I needed this reminder to get back to something I enjoy and that I feel is valuable. I've begun to realize more and more that sometimes writing something down is the easiest way to memorialize something. My daughter's favorite color appears to be purple. When given the choice between various pants, for example, she tends to gravitate towards any hue of purple. Also, she continues to enjoy dancing and has created different styles depending on the type of music she is listening to. It is rare to see her still. That is, ever. Even at night she becomes filled with boundless energy that is sometimes hard to compete with. Ha! It's almost like it's my bedtime and I have to get her to wind down with me so this old lady can have some rest. Anyhow, I also would like to extend a hug and a greeting to all of you that I haven't seen in some time. I have not been the best about keeping in touch. It seems much of my energy is put into playing with this little one and getting to be a part of all her wonderment and life! that she exemplifies. I dedicate this blog to all of you that I have not forgotten and never will no matter how many physical miles may live between us.

Outdoor Adventures

I am pleased to announce that spring does appear upon us. Or at least very close by. It did not bother my daughter to place her hands into relatively cold Lake Cushman water this past weekend. She adores the outdoors and I am pleased that we are able to expose her to more than just pavement and strip malls. The air here is relatively clean and I am always glad for that too. In the better weather almost each weekend can be like a mini-vacation for there are many excursions just a driving distance from here in the great northwest. I am enjoying each moment that I can. I am realizing now, more than ever before, how quickly she is growing. And her curiosity to climb and realize new surroundings pleases me. My how her hands are growing...
