Very unique lullaby

This week I'm going to focus on lullabies from around the world. Today I've stumbled upon the following version of a song from Goran Bregovic...copy and paste the following link to hear.

Goran Bregović (born 22 March 1950) is a Yugoslav musician, from Bosnia and Herzegovinaof Serbian and Croatian descent, and one of the most internationally known moderncomposers of the Balkans. He currently lives in Belgrade, Serbia, where to he came after civil war in ex Yugoslavia had started.

Bregović has composed for such varied artists as Iggy Pop and Cesária Évora. He rose to fame playing guitar with his rock band Bijelo dugme. Among his better known scores are Emir Kusturica’s films (Time of the Gypsies, Arizona Dream, Underground).
