Being a Mother

I was thinking this morning about all that goes into being a mother and an old adage came to mind - and I paraphrase - do not judge another until you have walked a mile in his shoes...and it makes so much sense. I remember when I was younger and before becoming a mother it was simple to judge others parenting. Now I really think that most mothers are doing their best in their own unique way even though it may not always look that way. There is something about being a mother that reminds me of being a public school teacher. There is always something I can change or do better to benefit my little gal. Still, I do my best and I'm sure most other mothers would say the same. We can't always see what challenges she might be facing that might cause a mother to look cranky or impatient, for example.
